"In this volume, correspondence between the two physicians, Peter Christian Wagner (1703-1764) and Christoph Jacob Trew (1695-1769), is analyzed in terms of its relevance to medical and scientific history. A special focus is placed on how Wagner enabled networking between academics in the early modern era.
