The Engine was made by Pixel Tales AB, who in co-operation with Hidden Entertainment and Stabenfeldt developed the Star Stable and Starshine Legacy games. The Engine is was developed around 2002 by Anders Åkerfeldt, the same time Pixel Tales was founded. All games in the Star Stable, Star Academy and Starshine Legacy franchises have used a version of Pixel Tales Game Engine a.k.a PX Studio, Star Stable Engine. It has been used to port many games to different platforms including Playstation, XBOX, IOS and Android.
