About This Game
Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls is a side-scrolling action RPG with characters from previous games available to be played. The game also has an up to 4 player boss-rush mode as well as a 4v4 PvP mode. Apart from the 2 new main characters, Genya Arikado and Lucy, 6 returning characters have been revealed: Alucard (Castlevania: Symphony of the Night) Simon Belmont (Castlevania) Charlotte Aulin (Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin) Maria Renard (Castlevania: Rondo of Blood) Soma Cruz (Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow) Shanoa (Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia)
Siliconera's translation of the story: "In a future where Count Dracula has been completely vanquished, people thought they had finally achieved eternal peace. However, a letter sent to Genya Arikado spelt the end of that peaceful age. “The Grimoire has gone berserk. Count Dracula has been revived.” In order to confirm the message in the letter, Genya Arikado heads to the sender’s location…"
