About This Game

Neo-London remembers nothing. The Dominion made certain of it. You are Cipher Reeve — the man their erasure failed to take - and the buried Signal you've touched carries the memory of everyone they erased. A psychological techno-thriller where truth is contraband and every choice is recorded.

Neo-London has forgotten the world that came before. The Dominion controls its feeds, its frequencies, and the silence between them, maintaining order through the systematic erasure of history and memory. Cipher Reeve was supposed to forget with everyone else. Instead, the Dominion’s erasure protocol failed, leaving him resistant to its influence and able to perceive traces of the past embedded within people, objects, and places. Where the regime expected silence, something remained. Following fragments of the mysterious Black Signal, Cipher begins uncovering memories the Dominion buried and crimes the city was conditioned not to recognize. His investigation draws him into the lives of Sylva, an analyst who perceives patterns others cannot; Kain, a deserter who once served the regime; and Mara, a former archivist who refused to destroy everything she was ordered to erase. Within Cipher is Hyde—the part of his mind that survived when the rest began to fracture. Hyde is neither a separate being nor an outside possession, but a survival architecture formed during the failed erasure: an internal presence that acts when Cipher cannot and holds him together when recovered memories threaten to overwhelm him. Every discovery carries a cost. The deeper Cipher follows the Signal, the more difficult it becomes to distinguish his own memories from those of the erased. His choices determine which truths survive, whom he can trust, and how far Neo-London begins to awaken. Everything converges on a forbidden broadcast lasting six minutes and forty-four seconds—the moment the city hears what it was never meant to remember. The consequences of Cipher’s investigation persist beyond this opening chapter, shaping the future of Neo-London and the wider ConOps21 saga.
