About This Game

Part of CAVE's line of mobile bullet dodging tests. Released for DoJa and J2ME mobile devices, then re-released for Nintendo Switch. Based on the arcade game Ketsui: Kizuna Jigoku Tachi, it weaves the stages and bosses from the original into an endless boss rush. The farther a player gets, the harder the game becomes. Players are challenged to survive as long as possible while racking up a high score. Players are able to pick from the original game's ships. When you think of CAVE's shooting games, you think of "danmaku". But how good are you really? The second installment of "Danmaku Certification Death Test" will answer that question. This "Danmaku Certification Death Test" is a shooting game that assesses your ability to deal with danmaku by fighting opponents that get stronger with each defeat. In this latest installment, "Ketsui Edition", the vicious weapons from "Ketsui: Kizuna Jogoku Tachi" will stand in your way. In addition to being evaluated by rank in the game, this game also supports online rankings, so you can further hone your skills by competing with users from all over the world. Those heading to hell on earth, behold the essence of danmaku.
