About This Game

A historical simulation game created by Koei in 1998. The fourth and final series of the Genghis Khan series, in 1999.

In the late 12th century, war continued and a young man named Temujin was installed as khan (king) in the Mongolian plateau. Temujin won the battle against his nemesis, Jamuqa, and established hegemony in the Mongolian plateau, earning the title of Genghis Khan. Meanwhile, in the west, the movement to recover the Holy Land by Christendom intensified, and the Crusaders led by Richard the Lionheart and the Islamic hero Saladin were repeatedly clashing over the Holy Land, Jerusalem. The whole of Eurasia was showing signs of being swept away in the midst of war by heroes from all over the world.
