About This Game
Heist was an open world game in the 60s inspired by action movies and feature music of the time. Actor Christian Slater would have provided a voice in the game. Codemasters announced on 28 January 2010 that the game had been cancelled. According to Brian Fargo, the game struggling to progress is due to Codemaster constant involvement.
You play the role of Johnny Sutton, a notorious criminal who has just been released from prison after serving five years for the heist of the San Francisco Mint, a job during which his father, the gang leader, was killed. The police showed up, seemingly tipped off by someone. Now free again, Johnny wants to finish what his father started and finally succeed in robbing the famous bank. His other goal is to avenge his father's death by finding out who could have warned the police.
