About This Game

Classic quest based on the famous work of Jaroslav Hašek; Sparkling dialogues, as close as possible to the author's text; Graphics in the style of original illustrations by Josef Lada; A new look at the adventures of the cheerful hero. Here, events are unfolding around some clandestine organizations in Europe during the early part of WWI.

Do you know Švejk? He is the soldier who was declared unfit for military service due to idiocy, yet he is also the one who, strangely, can get away with everything he does. Do you know why? No? We will tell you! So, on an early August morning in 1914, Josef Švejk wakes up at home, where he is overtaken by the news of the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand. Europe is on the eve of war, but Pan Josef has his own opinion on the balance of forces and power alliances. And what's the matter - it's up to you, the gentlemen of the players, to find out.
