About This Game

Shellbound is a hand-drawn 2D Metroidvania where life can only exist on a gigantic snail. Explore a vibrant world, fight bizarre flora and fauna and discover civilizations fueled by the powerful snail mucus. It is the key to your natural role: Devour everything so life itself continues to exist.

You explore a living world and interact with its bizarre biology, fight and control enemies for platforming, puzzles and combat, and follow a dark, compelling narrative about the end of the colossal Snail’s life cycle and your role in it as a parasite.
