About This Game

Play chess against Death. One move at a time. Survive the cold, gather what you can, and shape a world where every action echoes on the board.

You are dead. To return, you must survive 40 nights in the woods, making brutal choices by day and playing chess against Death each night. The forest is cold. The nights are long. Win, and you may see the dawn. Lose… and the world forgets you.
