About This Game

Interrogate your own player characters in this six-chapter murder mystery! Your decisions determine how many clues are uncovered for the final player character, the detective. Explore each stage of grief: Chapter 1 stars Orven as he navigates the shocking deaths of his dream and his hero.

Ventreville: A Cure for Sorrow is a fantasy visual novel game with a colorful cast of playable characters, each with their own unique mechanics, and all of whom are necessary in solving this mystery. But be careful, as your choices will determine whether their stories end in ruin or victory. Start as Orven Zanry, an up-and-coming glassblower working for the esteemed Ret Avidine. Work to uncover the secrets of “Remedium,” the cure to the plague destroying the city of Ventreville. And as you learn more about the remedy, your hero, and your coworkers, realize that things are not as they seem…
