Shadow Vault

While the future is doomed, there may be hope for man in the past, but when a band of fighters travel back to 1958, the mutant government army follows. Facing superior numbers and technology, with the threat of nuclear war hanging over their heads, and no way to return home, it's up to the player to fight through 20 levels to survive.

Shadow Vault (2004) is a strategy RPG set in an alternate 1958 Earth, where a resistance force battles the Contingent, a menacing mutant government from the future. Amidst a backdrop of time travel and technological disparity, players lead a squad to uncover the invaders' secrets and fight to reclaim the planet. The story weaves a tense conflict with a dark edge, as the resistance confronts overwhelming odds in a bid to reshape history.
