About This Game
Small Town Emo is a gay GameBoy walking-simulator. Follow the story of Ken, a 17 year old with an awkward crush on his best friend Fergus. Talk to characters, solve simple puzzles, make (occasional) dialogue choices, and explore! Navigate through the complexities of a teenage crush, and let the story of this small town emo kid unfold around you.
Small Town Emo follows the story of Ken, a seventeen year old emo with an awkward crush on his goofy best friend; Fergus. In the lead up to a costume party, Ken and Fergus spend the day loitering around their small New Zealand town. Can Ken find the courage to confess his feelings, or is he doomed to have depressing song lyrics as his Messenger status for the rest of eternity?
